Shahrood (River)
Shahrood or Shah-Rud, also translated as Shah River, is a river of northern Iran, a right-hand tributary of the Sefid River. It flows through the southern Alborz mountain range, originating on the slopes of the Takht-e Suleyman Massif at 4850 m. . The Shah River is about 175 km long.
