Payame Noor University

Payame Noor University (PNU) is one of the largest universities in IRAN with the headquarters based in Tehran, 30 provincial centers, 485 local study centers and campuses all around the country and one International Study Center located in the headquarters. Established in 1988, PNU is a legal body under the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. PNU took its first intake at 5 study fields at 28 local study centers.

Gholhak

Gholhak (also Qolhak) is a neighbourhood in Northern Tehran,a part of Shemiran, located between Zargandeh/Elahiyeh to the west and Ekhtiarieh/Dolat to the east and is served by Shariati St. , which in the old times was known as "Shemiran Road" and later with the construction of highways, "Old Shemiran Road". Previously during the Qajar era,it had a rural structure and was considered as a suburb of Tehran. This area are also houses the Gholhak Metro Station which opened on May 19th, 2009.

Lavizan

Lavizān is a northeastern neighborhood of Tehran, the capital of Iran. Lavizān area consists of a Residential area and forested Recreation area called Lavizān Forest Park. The neighborhoods surrounding Lavizan are Majidabad, Qanat-kosar, Qasemabad, Deh-e Narmak, Shian, Kuye Nobonyad, Ozgol and Qal'eue Sardar.

Farmanieh

Farmanieh (also spelled Farmaniye) is a district located in Shemiran, Tehran, Iran centered around Farmanieh Street. Farmanieh neighborhood extends south all the way to Sadr Expressway, where it becomes Dibaji, and as far north as Niavaran Expressway. It has one of, if not the highest household income rates in Tehran, being home to many embassies, nobles and notables of Iran.

Niavaran Palace Complex

Niavarān Palace Complex is a historical complex situated in the northern part of Tehran, Iran. It consists of several buildings and a museum. The Sahebqraniyeh Palace, from the time of Naser al-Din Shah of Qajar dynasty, is also inside this complex. The main Niavaran Palace, completed in 1968, was the primary residence of the last Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and the Imperial family until the Iranian Revolution. The main palace was designed by the Iranian architect Mohsen Foroughi.
