Javadabad District is a district in Varamin County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 26,105, in 6,430 families. The District has one city: Javadabad. Khavaran cemetery

Khavaran cemetery is a cemetery located in southeast Tehran. Khavaran was a traditional burial ground for religious minorities, "on the grounds that they were apostates and must not contaminate the resting place of Muslims. " During the the 1988 executions of Iranian political prisoners committed by the Islamic Republic of Iran, the government used Khavaran as the site of unmarked mass graves for those killed.
