Goulane

Goulane West or Gowlan West (Irish: An Gabhlán Thiar) is a small village located two miles southeast of Clifden in County Galway, Ireland. It is beside the N59 national secondary road. It has a population of 100. To the north of the village is a hilly area which leads to the river. To the south is Killywongaun and a by-road which leads to Clifden and the Dooneen area. The name An Gabhlán means "the small fork". There is also a Gowlan East or An Gabhlán Thoir in nearby Carna.

Nephin

Nephin or Nefin, at 806 metres (2646 ft), is the second-highest peak in Connacht. It is part of the Nephin Beg mountains range in the northwest of County Mayo.

Nephin Beg

Nephin Beg or Nefin Beg is a mountain in the Nephin Beg Range in north County Mayo, Ireland. The mountain takes its name from Nephin, although that mountain is some distance away and with intervening mountains between them. The highest point is 627 metres.

Rakestreet

Rakestreet (Irish: Sráid an Ráca, meaning "rake-street") is an area located 3 km southwest of Crossmolina in County Mayo, Ireland. Rakestreet was not an official name given to the area in Kilmurry, but a nickname given to the area due to the high jinks that happened at its fairs. It was officially put on the Irish maps in the early 1970s. The name is now official. It was famous for its fairs held up until the 1950s.

Bellacorick

Bellacorick or Bellacoric (Irish: Béal Átha Chomhraic, meaning "ford mouth of the confluence") is a townland in County Mayo, Ireland. It comprises an area of 800 acres . The area is remote, virtually uninhabited blanket bog which was once used mainly for milled peat production. Nowadays, it is a Special Area of Conservation because of the unique nature of the intact blanket bog habitat. The main Belmullet to Castlebar and Ballina road passes through this townland.
