Gortarowey Forest Recreation Area

Gortarowey Forest Recreation Area (Irish: Limistéar Áineasa Foraoise Ghort an Rabhaidh) is a forest park and recreation area at the foot of Ben Bulben near Drumcliffe in County Sligo, Ireland. Benbulbin

Benbulbin, sometimes spelt Ben Bulben or Benbulben (from the Irish: Binn Ghulbain), is a large rock formation in County Sligo, Ireland. It is part of the Dartry Mountains, in an area sometimes called "Yeats Country". Benbulbin is a protected site, designated as a County Geological Site by Sligo County Council.

Lissadell House

Lissadell House is a neo-classical Greek revivalist style country house, located in County Sligo, Ireland. The house was built in the 1830s for Sir Robert Gore-Booth, 4th Baronet MP by London architect Francis Goodwin. In 1876, Sir Robert left the house and surrounding estate to his son, Sir Henry Gore-Booth, 5th Baronet.

Queen Maeve International Summer School

The Queen Maeve International Summer School, (Irish Scoil Samhraidh Miosgán Medbha) is one of Ireland's largest traditional music summer schools, held annually since 1999 and was founded by Sligo tin whistle player Carmel Gunning. During the week, students from around the world attend daily classes taught by experts in Irish music and dance. In addition, a full program of lectures, recitals, dances and exhibitions are run by the summer school.
