Brian Dillons GAA

Brian Dillons Hurling & Gaelic football Club is located at the Tank Field in Murmont in the north side of Cork City, Republic of Ireland. The clubhouse was originally located at "the Hole in the Wall" in Dillons Cross. It is one of the oldest GAA clubs in Cork city. The club also has playing pitches and dressing rooms at Lisnahorna, Whites Cross. The club is named after Brian Dillon, a leader of the Fenian organisation.

Glounthaune railway station

Glounthaune railway station serves the town of Glounthaune in County Cork, Ireland. It is the junction between the Cobh and Midleton Cork Commuter lines. The station is unstaffed. Platform 1 (to Midleton/Cobh) is fully accessible, but platform 2 (to Cork) is accessible only via stairs. Westbound trains toward Cork often leave this station 1 or 2 minutes earlier than scheduled departure time at this station.

Jack Lynch Tunnel

The Jack Lynch Tunnel is an immersed tube tunnel and an integral part of the N40 southern ring road of Cork in Ireland. It is named after former Taoiseach, Jack Lynch, a native of Cork. It takes the road under the River Lee. North of the tunnel, the ring-road joins the M8 motorway to Dublin (north) and N8 road to the city centre (west), with the N25 commencing east to Waterford. The tunnel was completed in May 1999, and carries nearly 40,000 vehicles per day as of 2005.
