Mullaghareirk Mountains

The Mullaghareirk Mountains (from Irish: Mullach an Radhairc, meaning "The summit of the view") is a range of mountains in Ireland that stretches from the borders of County Kerry County Limerick to Newmarket, County Cork. The villages of Mountcollins, Tournafulla, Brosna and Rockchapel are set in the mountains. The mountains peak at 408 metres . The Allaughaun River, a tributary of the River Feale, rises at the east end of the range.

Rockchapel

Rockchapel (Irish: Séipéal na Carraige, meaning "chapel of the rocks") is a village in north County Cork in Ireland. It is in the townland of Tooreennagrena, near the border of counties Cork, Kerry and Limerick. Much of the land close to the village is planted with coniferous trees, mainly of lodgepole pine and Sitka spruce. This was largely facilitated by financial funding from the national forestry company Coillte through its grant support scheme.

Father Casey's GAA

Fr. Caseys GAA Club is an Irish Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Abbeyfeale on the border of Kerry and Limerick. Gaelic football is the club's main sport. Established in 1884 by Father William Casey, Fr. Caseys GAA Club has been one of the most successful clubs in the history of Limerick Gaelic Games. Fr. Caseys GAA Club have won the Limerick Senior Football Championship on 8 occasions and contributed many players to the Limerick county teams over the years.

Killeedy

Killeedy (Cill íde) is a parish located south of Newcastle West in Co. Limerick in Ireland. This parish consists of two villages, Ashford and Raheenagh. The elevation of the parish varies from 1,184 ft. OS at Mauricetown and 1,082 ft. at Dromdeeveen to 200 ft. OS at Ballintubber. The parish is overlooked by the Mullaghareirk Mountains. The patron saint of Killeedy is Saint Ita.

Meelin GAA

Meelin GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Meelin, Cork, Ireland which forms part of the parish of Rockchapel and Meelin. The club is affiliated to the Duhallow division of Cork GAA. The club has both a hurling and a Gaelic football teams. Up to recently the club did not have any Gaelic football team with the area represented in football by Knockscovane GAA Club which took part in Duhallow division football competitions until its amalgamation with Meelin GAA club.
