Loop Head
Loop Head (Irish: Ceann Léime, meaning "leap head"), is a headland on the north side of the mouth of the River Shannon, in County Clare in the west of Ireland. Loop Head is marked by a prominent lighthouse. The opposite headland on the south side of the Shannon is Kerry Head. The Shannon Foynes Port Company controls navigation in the Shannon estuary and river.

Cashen Bay
The Cashen Bay is located on the estuary of the River Feale located one mile north of Ballyduff, County Kerry, Ireland. It has served as a minor harbor for many centuries. A small number of inhabitants live the area called "The Cashen". A long seawall, up to 7 feet high in places, protects the shoreline community at both sides of the "mouth" of the River Feale. Ballybunion's world famous golf course is located on the north side of the Cashen Bay.

Ballybunion Golf Club
The Ballybunion Golf Club in County Kerry, Ireland (founded in 1893) had barely opened its doors before experiencing financial problems. An investment from Colonel Bartholomew saved the club in 1906, and nine new holes were promptly laid out. By 1927 the course had been expanded to 18 holes. Considered one of the finest links courses in the world, Ballybunion's reputation grew over time.

Kerry Head is a headland located in County Kerry, Ireland that stretches into the Atlantic Ocean just north of Banna Strand. On the southern edge of the headland sits Ballyheigue. Kerry Head separates the Shannon Estuary, on the North side, from Tralee Bay on the South side. Dolphin-watching is possible from the areas around Kerry Head. The headland is also one of the points marking the extent of Shannon Foynes Port, the port on the estuary.
