Beginish Island

Beginish (from Irish: Beiginis, meaning "small island") is an island in Valentia Harbour, in south west Kerry, Ireland. Beginish Island is currently uninhabited, the last remaining residents being 2 elderly brothers who left the island in the 1990s. There are a small number of holiday homes on the island which are used seasonally. The island is used for sheep farming and some small scale forestry, and by tourists in the summer months who use the island's beaches for recreational purposes.

Renard GAA

Reenard (or Renard as it is also spelled) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from the Kerry, Ireland townland of Reenard. Valentia Island

Valentia Island, also spelled Valencia Island, is one of Ireland's westernmost points, lying off the Iveragh Peninsula in the southwest of County Kerry, Ireland. It is linked to the mainland by the Maurice O'Neill Memorial bridge at Portmagee, as well as by a car ferry which sails from Reenard Point to Knightstown, the island's main settlement. The permanent population of the island is 713, and the island is approximately 11 kilometres long by almost 3 kilometres wide.

From the summit there are views of the Skellig Islands, Dingle Peninsula, the Blasket Islands, Beginish Island, Cahersiveen, Portmagee and Macgillycuddy's Reeks, including three of Ireland's six highest mountains: Carrauntoohil, Beenkeragh and Caher.
