Mount Brandon

Mount Brandon or Brandon Mountain (Irish: Cnoc Bréanainn, meaning "Brendan's hill") is a 952 m (3123 ft) mountain on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland. It is the highest peak of the unnamed central mountain range of the Dingle Peninsula and the ninth highest peak on the island. It is also the highest Irish peak outside the Macgillycuddy's Reeks. It is classed as a Furth by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.

Fahamore

Fahamore (Irish: An Faiche Mór, meaning "the large green") is a small hamlet/village on the Maharees peninsula in County Kerry. It consists of about 50 houses and one famous pub Spillane's. Fahamore was historically much larger than it is now as evidenced by two old schoolhouses in the village, one dating from 1849 and the other from 1911. Fahamore is located on the shore of Brandon Bay and is a centre for diving, surfing, windsurfing and sea bass fishing.

Scraggane

Scraggane is a fishing port located on the Maharees peninsula near Castlegregory in County Kerry, Ireland. The main local catch consists of lobster, flat-back crab, spider crab, Atlantic crayfish, Atlantic salmon and mackerel. Scraggane is home to a fleet of about twenty fishing trawlers. Scraggane Bay is used extensively as a flatwater windsurfing venue owing to its consistent wind and its protection from the Atlantic waves.

Dingle Peninsula

The Dingle Peninsula (Irish: Corca Dhuibhne - anglicized as Corkaguiny, the name of the corresponding barony) is the northernmost of the major peninsulae in County Kerry. Its ends beyond the town of Dingle at Dunmore Head, the westernmost point of Ireland.

Magharee Islands

The Magharee Islands, also known as "The Seven Hogs", are a group of uninhabited islands located off Rough Point at the northern tip of the Magharee Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland. The Islands are part of the parish of Castlegregory are well known as excellent diving and snorkelling destinations. The Magharees Sound separates the Seven Hogs from the mainland. A monastic site comprising beehive huts and the ruins of an old church are located on Illauntannig.
