Kilshannig GAA

Kilshannig is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the parish of Glantane in County Cork, Ireland. The parish in North Cork is split into three villages, Glantane, Dromahane and Bweeng. The club was founded in the same year as GAA's founding, in 1884. Cill Seannaigh comes from St. Senach, who founded a church near the present site of the Church of Ireland at Newberry.

Beenalaght

Beenalaght (An Seisear in Irish, meaning The Six) is an alignment of six standing stones located on a flat pasture in Reanthesure, 0.5km west of the village of Bweeng, County Cork, Ireland. It is 13.6km (8.5 miles) south-west of Mallow, on a hill to the west of the Mallow-Coachford Road. Beenalaght is a thirty six foot alignment of six standing stones, one of which has fallen. Measuring between 6 to 9ft, the two largest stones are placed at each extremity, with the shortest in the middle.

Mourne Abbey

Mourneabbey (in Irish Mainstir Na Morna) is a small parish just south of Mallow, County Cork, Ireland, on the main Mallow-Cork Road and Rail Line. The population of the parish is about 1,000 people. There are two churches and schools in the area, Analeentha and Burnfort.
