Caesarea Golf & Country Club

The Caesarea Golf & Country Club is the only 18-hole golf course in the country of Israel. Caesarea is a coastal town, halfway between Tel Aviv and Haifa. The course was designed in 1961 by Fred Smith and Herman Barron, and passes through ancient Roman imperial ruins. It was the first golf club opened in the country, and one of two (the other one is in nearby kibbutz Ga'ash). Because it is the only full course in Israel, the golf course fees are very expensive.
