Pella, Jordan

Pella (known in Arabic as Tabaqat Fahl) is a village and the site of ancient ruins in northwestern Jordan. It is half an hour by car from Irbid, in the north of the country. Pella is located in the Jordan valley some 130 km north of Amman, and the site has been continuously occupied since Neolithic times. First mentioned in the 19th century BC in Egyptian inscriptions, its name was Hellenised to Pella, perhaps to honour Alexander the Great's birthplace.

Halawah

Halawah (حلاوة) is a village in the in Ajloun Governorate. Along with Al Hashimiyya and Al Wahadinah it makes up the Ash Shefa Municipality. Most of the people are from the Najadat (نجادات) family.

Rasoun

Rasoun Village is located in the Ajloun Governorate in northern Jordan. It is known as a beautiful tourist area in Jordan and is characterized by nature scenery. It is approximately 8 kilometers from Ajloun via a road characterized by green mountains and perennial trees. The village has received aid through programs initiated by Queen Rania of Jordan. These programs aimed to improve the village infrastructure and encourage tourism.
