Kilifi District

Kilifi District is an administrative district in the Coast Province of Kenya. Its capital is coastal town Kilifi. The district has a population of 281,552 http://www. cck. go. ke/html/final_annex1_cover_status. pdf. The district is located north and northeast of Mombasa. Kilifi is less touched by tourists than Mombasa or Malindi Districts, but there are some tourists beaches in Kikambala and Kilifi.

Voi River

The Voi River (Goshi River) is a river in Coast Province, Kenya, East Africa. It originates in the Taita Hills and flows past the town of Voi and through the Tsavo East National Park before emptying into the sea at Kilifi. Its total length is about 210 kilometres . However, in the dry season only the last (lower) eighty kilometres has water in it.

Kilifi Bridge

Kilifi Bridge is the longest bridge in Kenya with a total length of 420 metres. The superstructure is a prestressed continuous box girder carrying two lanes. The bridge has three spans. The construction of Kilifi Bridge was completed in 1991. It connects Kilifi and Mnarani. The road heads to Mombasa towads south, and Malindi, Lamu and Garissa towards north.

Kilifi

Kilifi is a town on the Kenyan coast, home to many resorts. It sits on the Goshi estuary of the Goshi River in Kenya. The beach itself is known as Bofa Beach and is said to be one of the best beaches in Kenya. The town lies on the Kilifi Creek between Malindi and Mombasa. Kilifi is capital of the Kilifi District. The town has an urban population of 30,394. The town is known for its beach and for the ruins of Mnarani, including mosques and tombs, dating from the 14th to the 17th century.

Takaungu

Takaungu is a small rural village located on the Kenyan Coast between Mombasa and Malindi, in the Kilifi District, Coast Province. It is 10 kilometres south of the Kilifi town, in the Kikambala division.
