Pociūnai Airport

Pociūnai Airport, also known as Prienai Airport or Prienai Pociūnai Airport, is an aerodrome and a small airport located in Ašminta elderate of Kaunas district municipality, Lithuania; 38 km south of the Kaunas centre. The airport's infrastructure allows it to handle medium and small sized aircraft, like the Saab 2000, Saab 340 as well as other aircraft. Panemunė, Kaunas

Panemunė is an elderate in the Lithuanian city of Kaunas, that was formally incorporated into Kaunas in 1931. It is located on the left bank of the Nemunas River. It occupies 24.78 hectares, with 22,140 inhabitants. The elderate encompasses the neighbourhoods of Vaišvydava, Vičiūnai, Panemunė and Rokai. A vast pine wood occupies a significant area in this neighbourhood. Neorenaissance style Holy Virgin Mary church built in the middle of the 19th century is located in Panemunė elderate.

Napoleon's Hill

Napoleon's hill, actually Jiesia (Pajesys) hill fort mound is located in Kaunas, Lithuania, on the left bank of the Nemunas, between the Panemunė and Railway bridges. It is 63.3 meters high. Since the 19th century it has been nicknamed Napoleon's hill. It is believed that from this hill Napoleon I of France watched his Grande Armée crossing the Nemunas during the French invasion of Russia in June 1812.

Pažaislis Monastery

Pažaislis monastery and church (Lithuanian: Pažaislio vienuolynas ir bažnyčia) form the largest monastery complex in Lithuania, and the most magnificent example of Italian Baroque architecture in the country. It is situated in the Petrašiūnai elderate of Kaunas, Lithuania, on a peninsula in the Kaunas Reservoir near the Kaunas Yacht Club.
