Mizarai crater
Mizarai is a meteorite impact crater in Druskininkai municipality, Lithuania. The crater is not exposed to the surface and the site now hosts Mizarai village. The crater is about 5 km in diameter and about 250 m in depth. It was created by an asteroid, estimated 300 m in diameter, 500 ± 20 or 570 ± 50 million years ago. The asteroid hit basement rock and shattered it up to 1.3 km deep. It was later buried under various sediments.

Chertok, Belarus
Chertok is a village in Sapotskin possoviet, Hrodna district, Hrodna Voblast, Belarus. It is situated by the Augustów Canal. A sluice which used to be by the village was destroyed during World War II. It was reconstructed in 2000s. The village used to be within the Poland-Belarus border zone of restricted travel. In 2000s this restriction was lifted to enhance the development of tourism in the area.

Sapotskin
Sapotskin is a small town in Belarus, 27 km north-east of Hrodna. It has circa 2,000 inhabitants, almost exclusively identifying themselves as ethnic Poles. It is one of the centers of the Polish minority in Belarus and the death-place of Gen. Józef Olszyna-Wilczyński. It is also the only town in Belarus where the Polish minority was allowed to use bilingual street signs.

Joy of all who Sorrow Church, Druskininkai
Joy of all who Sorrow Church is an Orthodox church in Druskininkai, Lithuania. The church was built in 1865, after Druskininkai become a highly popular spa town visited by many wealthy Russians. The vice-governor of Grodno, Yakov Rozhnov, announced a collection of funds in the whole country. Among the contributors, there was the granddaughter of general Mikhail Ilarionovich Kutuzov, Iekaterina, who offered the sum needed for the construction of the iconostasis.
