Nemunas Loops Regional Park was established in 1992 to protect the historical, cultural, and natural character of the loops on the Neman River in central Lithuania. The park occupies 25,171 hectares. 69% of its area is forested. The resort areas of Birštonas and Punia lie within its boundaries. Pociūnai Airport

Pociūnai Airport, also known as Prienai Airport or Prienai Pociūnai Airport, is an aerodrome and a small airport located in Ašminta elderate of Kaunas district municipality, Lithuania; 38 km south of the Kaunas centre. The airport's infrastructure allows it to handle medium and small sized aircraft, like the Saab 2000, Saab 340 as well as other aircraft. The co-ordinates of Pociunai airfield are N54°39.3’ E024°03.5’.

Pakuonis

Pakuonis is a small town in Prienai district municipality, Lithuania. It is located near the Neman River. According to 2001 census, it has population of 680. The village was first mentioned in 1744. The first church was built in 1792 or 1794 and the town began to grow around it. On April 23, 2004 town coat of arms, depicting a blooming apple tree, was approved by a presidential decree.

Alytus Arena

The Alytus Arena is a universal indoor arena in Alytus, Lithuania. It was opened in 1981. Its reconstruction began in 2009 and was completed by the end of 2010. The arena was officially opened on 12 February 2011. The arena hosted the Group C games of EuroBasket 2011 from 31 August 2011 to 5 September 2011.
