Kozjak Hydro Power Plant

Kozjak Hydro Power Plant is a large hydroelectric power plant on the river Treska which creates an artificial lake Kozjak, the largest in Republic of Macedonia. It is located in the western part of the country in the municipality of Makedonski Brod. The power plant has two turbines with a nominal capacity of 41 MW each having a total capacity of 82 MW. The lake is 32 km long, with maximum depth of 130 m .

Bitovo

Begovo Pole

Begovo Pole is a karst field on mount Jakupica, on the north side of peak Solunska Glava, located in central Macedonia. The field is 1.5 km long and 500 to 1000 m wide and it is slightly sloped westwards. There is a small stream flowing through it forming a few karst lakes and then loses among the sink holes. The water that is lost on Begovo Pole appears at the springs of Babuna river on the other side of Solunska Glava.

Bogomila

Bogomila is a village in Čaška Municipality in the central part of the Republic of Macedonia, close to the city of Veles. Bogomila is also the birthplace of revolutionary Petar Poparsov.
