Govrlevo

Govrlevo is a small village in the Republic of Macedonia, near Skopje. It belongs to the Sopište municipality. Govrlevo is famous for Adam of Macedonia (or "Adam of Govrlevo"), a Neolithic sculpture found by the archaeologist Milosh Bilbija from the Skopje City Museum, and is more than 6.000 years old. Dolno Sonje

Dolno Sonje is a small village south of Skopje, the capital of the country of Macedonia. It is located on the other side of Mount Vodno from Skopje, but a road running around the mountain connects the two communities. The population of Dolno Sonje is approximately 1000, 98% of which are ethnic Macedonian. Most residents work in Skopje. Dolno Sonje is a popular vacation spot for its clean air, beautiful surroundings, and medieval churches.

Church of St. Panteleimon (Nerezi)

The Church of St. Panteleimon in Gorno Nerezi, Republic of Macedonia, is a small 12th century Byzantine church located in a monastery complex. The church and monastery are dedicated to St. Panteleimon, the patron saint of physicians. The church was constructed in 1164 as a foundation of Alexius Angelus Comnenus, a son of Constantine Angelos and Theodora Komnene, a daughter of Byzantine Emperor Alexios I Komnenos. The church has a domed cruciform core, three apses and a rectangular narthex.
