Bayan Lepas is a town in Penang, Malaysia being home to the Penang International Airport. It has a population of about 141,000 people. Bayan Lepas is the main industrial hub of Penang, being home to the Free Industrial Zone, where factories of many multinational companies are located. Penang International Airport

Penang International Airport, previously known as Bayan Lepas International Airport, is situated in the Bayan Lepas area that at southeast of Penang Island, Malaysia. The airport is located 16 km away from George Town, the capital city of Penang. Penang International Airport is a medium-sized airport with good connections to major cities in South East Asia. The airport serves as the main airport for the northern region of Malaysia.

Batu Maung

Batu Maung is a small town in Penang, Malaysia. It is located in the southeastern part of Penang Island. It consists of several smaller villages namely Kampung Seronok (at the border with Bayan Lepas), Kampung Binjai, Permatang Damar Laut, Kampung Batu Maung, Kampung Teluk Tempoyak and Kampung Jalan Baru. Around 20 years ago, Batu Maung was only a small fishing village accessible only from Bayan Lepas.

Snake Temple

The Snake Temple is situated in Sungai Kluang, Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia and is perhaps the only temple of its kind in the world. The temple is filled with the smoke of burning incense and a variety of pit vipers. The vipers are believed to be rendered harmless by the sacred smoke, but as a safety precaution, the snakes have also been de-venomed but still have their fangs intact, visitors are warned against picking up the reptiles and placing them on their bodies for taking pictures.

Gertak Sanggul

Gertak Sanggul is a village in Penang, Malaysia, located southwest coast of Penang island. The main race in this village is Chinese and a small number of Malays. The Chinese names of this village is MeiHu (美湖/means beautiful lake) or WeiHu (尾湖) in Chinese Dialects. This is a fishing village. And, there are also pig farming and farmer in this village. A Chinese primary school located in Gertak Sanggul, SJK (C) Poi Eng .
