Tamparuli

Tamparuli is a small town and a sub-district of Tuaran on the west coast of Sabah, Malaysia. It is populated mainly by native Dusuns, while a sizeable Chinese community runs most of the shops in the town proper. As with many other small towns in Sabah and indeed Malaysia as a whole, the town itself consists of both newer concrete shoplots as well as old wooden ones, which are particularly prone to destruction by fire as evidenced in the destruction of one of the wooden shoplots in recent years.

Telipok

Telipok is a town located about 15 kilometres north of Kota Kinabalu, in Sabah, Malaysia. The town is within the administration of Kota Kinabalu City Hall and is a sub-district of the city. It is also part of the urban expanse of Kota Kinabalu or part of its metropolitan area. It is situated nearby Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park, and is within 5 kilometres of the towns of Menggatal, Sepanggar, and Tuaran.

Tuaran

Tuaran is a town as well as a district located in West Coast Division, in the northwest of Sabah, East Malaysia on the island of Borneo. Tuaran district has an area of 1,166 square kilometres and an estimated population of 105,435 in 2010. About half the population consists of ethnic Dusun and a third are of ethnic Bajau descent. The remainder are mostly of the Chinese community, particularly from the Hakka subgroup . It has a distinctive nine-story Chinese pagoda as a prominent landmark.

Sepanggar

Sepanggar is a sub-district of Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia. It is located around Sepanggar Bay which houses the Sepanggar Bay Container Terminal, a major naval base for the Royal Malaysian Navy as well as the Sepanggar Bay Oil Terminal. The main campus for Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Universiti Teknologi MARA Sabah, Polytechnic Kota Kinabalu and Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP), are situated here.

Menggatal

Menggatal is a Malaysian town and sub-district on the west coast of Sabah, on the outskirts of the capital, Kota Kinabalu. It is under the jurisdiction of Kota Kinabalu City Hall. The name 'Menggatal' is largely believed to refer to the name of a tree that cause skin itchiness, hence the name which means 'causing itch' in Malay.
