Wakaf Tapai

Wakaf Tapai is a small town in the Marang district of Terengganu, on the east coast of peninsular Malaysia. The population comprises 89% Malays, 10% Chinese and 1% of other races. The town is well known for the Malay rice dish, nasi dagang. The town is so named from the Malay words wakaf, meaning small hut for travelers resting, and tapai, a type of food made from tapioca which tastes like wine.

Bukit Payong is a town in the Marang district of Terengganu, on the east coast of peninsular Malaysia. The population comprises 95.85% Malays, 4% Chinese and 0.15% of other races. The town is bordering the district of Kuala Terengganu. It houses several government departments such as Jabatan Pertanian, Jabatan Haiwan, Peladang, and Pejabat Pos. There are two shopping centres which are Pasaraya Seri Intan and Kedai Wahab. Also there a lot of bundle shop in this town.

Kuala Berang

Kuala Berang is the seat and largest town of Hulu Terengganu District, Terengganu, Malaysia. The town serves as a gateway to Lake Kenyir. The historical Terengganu Inscription Stone was found near Kuala Berang in 1899. The town of Kuala Berang once had been the capital of the state of Terengganu before it shifted to Kuala Terengganu.
