Vărăncău, Transnistria

Vărăncău is a commune in Transnistria, Moldova, consisting of three villages: Vărăncău, Buschi (Буськи), and Gherşunovca (Гершунівка). It is located 15 km SE of Râbniţa. The village Vărăncău is the site of the Church of the Blessed Virgin's Assumption, a Christian Orthodox church, construction of which was completed in 1800. Since then, the church has been open and functioning, standing much as it did when it first opened its doors.

Ofatinţi

Ofatinţi, is a commune consisting of two villages - Ofatinţi and Novaia Jizni (Ukrainian: Нове Життя, Nove Zhyttia; Russian: Новая Жизнь, Novaya Zhyzn')- in Transnistria, Moldova. It is located 15 km south of Râbniţa. Historically, a small trading port on the Dniester river, during the 19th century, it was part of the Podolsk district of the Russian Empire. The famous Russian composer Anton Rubinstein was born in Ofatinţi.

Popencu is a commune in the north of Transnistria, Moldova. It consists of four villages: Popencu, Chirov (Кірове, Кирово), Vladimirovca (Володимирівка, Владимировка), and Zăzuleni (Зозуляни, Зозуляны), and is part of the Rîbniţa sub-district, Transnistria.
