Nezavertailovca

Nezavertailovca is a village and commune in the Slobozia sub-district of Transnistria, Moldova. It is composed of a single village, Nezavertailovca, which lies on the southwest bank of the Cuciurgan Reservoir. It is currently under the administration of the breakaway government of the Transnistrian Moldovan Republic.

Dnestrovsc

Dnestrovsc is a town in southern Transnistria, Moldova, near the border with Ukraine. It is located at the shores of the Cuciurgan Reservoir and is home to the Kuchurgan power station, also known as Moldavskaya GRES. It is a company town which was founded in early Soviet times by the establishment of a large power plant, Moldavskaya GRES, today owned by Inter RAO UES. At the 1989 census, Dnestrovsc has a populaiton of 14,876. At the 2004 census it had ca. 11,200 inhabitants.

Cuciurgan Reservoir

Cuciurgan Reservoir is a large water reservoir (lake) in Transnistria, Moldova. The lake is located in the extreme south of the region, on the border with the Odessa Oblast in Ukraine and its water resources are shared between the two countries. It was created by damming the Kuchurhan River just north of where it flows into the Dniester. The reservoir is 20 km long and has a width of 3 km at the side of the dam. It has a total water surface area of 27.2 square kilometers.

Corotna

Corotna is a commune in the Slobozia sub-district of Transnistria, Moldova. It is composed of a single village, Corotna. It is currently under the administration of the breakaway government of the Transnistrian Moldovan Republic. The population of the village is estimated to up to 4 thousand people, mainly Moldovans.

Lymanske (urban-type settlement)

Lymanske is a town in the Rozdilnianskyi Raion of the Odessa Oblast in Ukraine. It is located along the east side of the Kuchurhan Reservoir on the border with Transnistria in Moldova. A village called Selz (named after Seltz in Alsace) was established at this location along the Kutschurgan Liman in 1808 by Roman Catholic German and Alsatian (French citizens) immigrants to the Kutschurgan Valley, then part of the Russian Empire.
