Stadion na Koniku (Stadium on Konik) is situated at the southwest part of Konik, a southeastern suburb of Podgorica, at the Ćemovsko Polje, the ‘only desert in Montenegro’. Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts is the most important scientific institution of Montenegro. It was founded in 1973 as the Montenegrin Society for Science and Arts (Crnogorsko društvo za nauku i umjetnost) and adopted its current name in 1976. The stadium is the home ground of Montenegrin First League club FK Budućnost Podgorica and is also the most frequently used host stadium for the Montenegrin national football team.
