Tamuda
Tamuda is an archaeological site in Morocco situated near what nowadays is Tetouan, by the south bank or river Martil. It was founded in the 3rd century BC by the Mauretanians. The city was one of the major cities of the Roman province Mauretania Tingitana. Martil Valley
Martil Valley is situated to the North east of Tetouan, Morocco. It has an extension of about 10 to 15 km. The name comes from the river that crosses the valley, formerly known as Rio Martin, during the Spanish protectorate period in the first half of the 20th century. The river ends into the Mediterranean Sea, at the sea resort of Martil.
