Boudhanath

Boudhanath (also called Boudha, Bouddhanath or Baudhanath or the Khāsa Caitya) is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is known as Khāsti in Nepal Bhasa Jyarung Khasyor in Tamang language or as Bauddha by modern speakers of Nepali. Located about 11 km from the center and northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu, the stupa's massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal. The Buddhist stupa of Boudhanath dominates the skyline.

Budhanilkantha School

Budhanilkantha School, often referred to as BNKS, is a public boarding school in Nepal. It is located in Narayansthan, 8 kilometres north of Kathmandu on the foothills of Shivapuri mountain (2,732 metres). It is named after the Budhanilkantha Temple which is located nearby. One third of pupils are granted scholarships based on merit and need after a selective entrance exam. The school aims to impart quality education for rich and poor alike in an environment that fosters unity and equality.

Thamel

Thamel is a popular tourist destination in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is a full Wi-fi zone in Nepal. Thamel has been the centre of the tourist industry in Kathmandu for over four decades starting from the hippie movement when many artists came to Nepal and spent weeks in Thamel. Even though Thamel has been referred to as the "ghetto" by some, most low-budget travelers consider it a tourist heaven.

All Nepal National Free Students Union

The All Nepal National Free Students Union (Nepali: अखिल नेपाल राष्ट्रिय स्वतन्त्र विद्यार्थी युनियन, abbreviation अनेरास्ववियु) is a student based organisation in Nepal. The ANNFSU was founded in 1965. The original ANNFSU was later divided along ideological lines, and there are several organisations that emerged out of it. The main ANNFSU grouping today is politically tied to the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist).
