Our Lady the Garden Enclosed
The Roman Catholic Hermitage of Our Lady, the Garden Enclosed is situated in the former parish church of Warfhuizen, a village in the extreme north of the Netherlands. It is the only Dutch hermitage currently inhabited by a hermit. The name draws upon the traditional epithet for the Virgin Mary ("Our Lady") of hortus conclusus or enclosed garden. The hermitage was founded in 2001 as the dwelling of a Roman Catholic consecrated hermit.

Kloosterburen
Kloosterburen is a village in the Dutch province of Groningen. It is located in the municipality of De Marne. Kloosterburen was a separate municipality until 1990, when it was merged with Leens, Ulrum and Eenrum. During the combining of the four municipalities they were called 'de LEUK gemeenten'. From 1926 to 1970, the Roosendaal brothers of the Sacred Heart lived and worked in a Kloosterburen convent, which was converted into Hotel Het Klooster in 1970.

Zeehondencrèche Lenie 't Hart
The Zeehondencrèche Lenie 't Hart is a seal rehabilitation and research centre in the village of Pieterburen in the province of Groningen, The Netherlands. Lenie ‘t Hart has been rehabilitating sick and injured seals since the centre was founded in Pieterburen in 1971. The centre has evolved from a simple ‘crèche’ for young seals to a scientific research-based seal hospital, with accompanying facilities such as quarantine, a laboratory, a chemist and modern research facilities.
