Weesperkarspel is a former municipality in the Dutch province of North Holland. It existed until 1966, when part of it was merged with Amsterdam and the part East of the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal was merged with Weesp.

Gaasperplas
Gaasperplas is an artificial lake used for recreational purposes south-east of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Gaasperplas was created with the extraction of sand for the construction of the Bijlmer. At its deepest the lake is 35 metres deep. It was the setting for the 1982 Floriade landscape and flower show, and the Eastern end of the lake is surrounded by parks and woodlands that once formed part of the event.

Vecht (Utrecht)
The Vecht is a Rhine branch in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is sometimes called Utrechtse Vecht to avoid confusion with its Overijssel counterpart. The area along the river is called the "Vechtstreek". The Vecht originates in the city of Utrecht, where the Kromme Rijn stream forks into two branches: the Leidse Rijn/Oude Rijn branch to the west and the Vecht to the north.

Nederhorst den Berg
Nederhorst den Berg is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It lies about 8 km northwest of Hilversum. It is in an area called the "Vechtstreek". Until 1 January 2002, it was a separate municipality; it is now part of the municipality of Wijdemeren. The statistical district "Nederhorst den Berg", which covers the village and the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 5100.
