Katikati

Katikati (population 3,579 at 2006 census) is a town located on the Uretara Stream near the tidal inlet opened by Matakana Island in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. The nearest city is Tauranga, which is 40 kilometres to the southeast. Katikati lies 28 kilometres south of Waihi. Katikati was settled in 1875 by settlers from County Tyrone in Ireland through the Orange Institution.

Katikati College

Katikati College is a co-educational Year 7 to 13 school. It is located in the town of Katikati which is approximately 40 km northwest of the city of Tauranga in the Western Bay of Plenty region of New Zealand. Katikati College has formed a partnership with Hillcrest High School in Hamilton to develop the teaching of Information and Communications Technology and establish links with local technology companies. as part of the Beacon Practice Project.

Matakana Island

Matakana Island is located in the western Bay of Plenty in New Zealand's North Island. A long, flat island, it is 20 kilometres in length but rarely more than 3 kilometres wide. The island has been continuously populated for centuries by a number Māori tribes that are mostly associated with Ngai Te Rangi.

Kaimai Range

The Kaimai Range (sometimes referred to as the Kaimai Ranges) is a mountain range in the North Island of New Zealand. It is part of a series of ranges, with the Coromandel Range to the north and the Mamaku Ranges to the south. The Kaimai Range separates the Waikato in the west from the Bay of Plenty in the east. The highest point of the range is Mount Te Aroha (952 m), at the foot of which is the town of Te Aroha.

Omokoroa

Omokoroa is a small urban area in the Western Bay of Plenty District of New Zealand. The suburb is considered part of Greater Tauranga, (contributing towards its population of 122,200), and is within the Bay of Plenty electorate. Omokoroa started off as a small rural holiday village, but has recently expanded to a commuter town, with a 15 minute drive to Tauranga City since the expansion of feeder roads, ready for the Tauranga Northern Motorway.
