Katikati
Katikati (population 3,579 at 2006 census) is a town located on the Uretara Stream near the tidal inlet opened by Matakana Island in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. The nearest city is Tauranga, which is 40 kilometres to the southeast. Katikati lies 28 kilometres south of Waihi. Katikati was settled in 1875 by settlers from County Tyrone in Ireland through the Orange Institution.

Kaimai Tunnel
The Kaimai Tunnel is a railway tunnel through the Kaimai Range in the North Island of New Zealand. Since it was opened in 1978, it has held the title of longest tunnel, at 8.879 kilometres, in New Zealand, assuming this distinction from the previous title holder, the Rimutaka Tunnel. It is part of the Kaimai Deviation, which was constructed to bypass the old route of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway through the Karangahake Gorge (part of which has been preserved as the Goldfields Railway).

Omokoroa
Omokoroa is a small urban area in the Western Bay of Plenty District of New Zealand. The suburb is considered part of Greater Tauranga, (contributing towards its population of 122,200), and is within the Bay of Plenty electorate. Omokoroa started off as a small rural holiday village, but has recently expanded to a commuter town, with a 15 minute drive to Tauranga City since the expansion of feeder roads, ready for the Tauranga Northern Motorway.
