Sundvollen

Sundvollen is a village in the municipality of Hole, in the county of Buskerud, Norway. Sundvollen is located along the east side of Tyrifjorden where the E16 crosses west over Steinsfjorden, the northeastern arm of Tyrifjorden, to Kroksund. The village had 801 inhabitants as of January 2009. Sundvollen is most noted for the Sundvolden and Krokkleiva hotels. Sundvolden Hotel is one of Norway’s oldest hotels. It was mentioned in written sources dating from 1648.

Sentralanlegget is the war headquarters of the Norwegian government. The facility is located in Hole municipality in Buskerud County, and designed as an underground shelter in the west side of the mountain Kongens utsikt. Utvika Camping

Utvika Camping is a camping spot close to the Tyrifjorden. Perhaps mostly known as the place were most of the survivors of the 2011 Norway attacks at Utøya was taken when rescued by boat owners in the area.
