Hakavik Power Station
Hakavik Power Station is a hydroelectric power plant in Øvre Eiker, Norway with a power of 7 MW inaugurated in 1922. It generates only single phase AC for railway purpose and is the startpoint of a 55 kV- single phase AC powerline for traction current to Sande and an other to Sundhaugen Switching Station, where a 55 kV-line to Asker and an other one to Neslandsvatn over Nordagutu and Skollenberg departs.

Eikeren or Eikern is a long and deep lake in the municipalities of Hof in the county of Vestfold and Øvre Eiker in the county of Buskerud, Norway. It is the largest lake in Vestfold. At the eastern end of Vestfold is the village of Eidsfoss. In this area, water flows into Lake Eikeren from the Bergsvann, Vikevann, Haugestadvann and Hillestadvann. Lake Eikeren also receives waterflow from the Hakavikelva and Steinbruelva Rivers.

Eidsfoss
Eidsfoss is a village in Hof municipality, in Vestfold county, Norway. It is located near Lake Eikeren. The village was the site of the Eidsfos Iron Works (Eidsfos Jernverk) which dated to 1697. The iron works was closed in 1873. The village is also the location of the historic Eidsfos Manor (Eidsfos Hovedgård) which dates from approximately 1750.
