Buskerud University College

Buskerud University College (Norwegian: Høgskolen i Buskerud or HiBu) is a høgskole, a Norwegian state institution of higher education established August 1, 1994 and situated in the county of Buskerud, Norway. The campuses are located in three different cities around Oslo: Kongsberg (Technology and Engineering), Drammen (Political Science, Health Science, Teacher Education, and Design) and Hønefoss (Business Administration and Management).

Kongsberg Station

Kongsberg Station is a railway station located in downtown Kongsberg in Buskerud, Norway, on the Sørlandet Line. The station is served by express trains to Kristiansand and is the terminus of the local trains from Oslo and Eidsvoll.

Kongsberg Church

Kongsberg Church, is a located in Kongsberg in Buskerud county, Norway. The church was designed by Joachim Andreas Stukenbrock, and the construction period lasted from 1740 to 1761. The church contains the largest roccoco interior in Norwegian churches. Among the driving forces behind the decoration and interior of the church was mining engineer Michael Heltzen.

Kongsberg Skiing Museum

Kongsberg Skiing Museum is a museum of skiing, located in Kongsberg, Norway. It was initially created by the two friends and well known ski jumpers, Birger Ruud and Petter Hugsted. The museum focuses on the golden age of ski jumping in Norway, from 1924 to 1952, when jumpers from Kongsberg dominated ski jumping on the national as well as international level. The museum is located in central Kongsberg, together with the Norwegian Mining Museum (Norsk Bergverksmuseum).

Kongsberg Silver Mines

The silver mines of Kongsberg, in Buskerud county in Norway, constitute the largest mining field in Norway, with over 80 different mines. It was the largest pre-industrial working place in Norway, with over 4,000 workers at its peak in the 1770s and supplied over 10% of the gross national product of the Danish-Norwegian union during its 335 year long history: over 450,000 man-years were expended in the production.
