Sysle
Sysle is a village in the municipality of Modum, Norway. Its population (2005) is 227. Sysle is located between Highway 280 (Riksvei 280) and the Snarumselva, a continuation of the Hallingdal River which flows from Lake Krøderen. It is situated about five miles west of Vikersund, the municipality capital of Modum. There is a rail stop at Sysle Station on the Krøderbanen railway line which runs from Vikersund to Krøderen.

Snarum Station
Snarum Station (originally Lofthus Station) is a railway station on the Krøder Line in Buskerud, Norway. It was opened on 28 November 1872 and located in the village Snarum. The station house was designed by Georg Andreas Bull in Swiss chalet style. On 26 November 1872, farmer Jørgen Rytterager was appointed the first station master of the station. The station was one of the stations on the Krøder Line with the most passenger and freight traffic.
