Bjøllebotn

Bjøllebotn is a residential area near the commercial centre Nesttun in Bergen, Norway. Bjøllebotn has about 250 residents living in 100 houses, mostly detached and villa houses. At the time of the founding of Bjøllebotn in the 1970s, the roads were made up of gravel. Bjøllebotn expanded twice in the early 80's, and the road has been paved.

Hatlestad Slide

The Hatlestad Slide was a slide of mud and rock which occurred in the early morning of September 14, 2005 in a rural area in Bergen, Norway, as a result of heavy rainfall. The slide killed three people, wounded seven, and displaced many more, as it hit a row of residential houses in its path while the houses' occupants were asleep.

Espeland is a village in Arna borough in Bergen, Norway. As of January 1, 2008, the population of the Espeland urban area is 1937. The urban area covers a land area of 2.14 square kilometres, and has a population density of 905 per square kilometre. Espeland is known for the Espeland concentration camp, built by Germans 1942–1943.
