Innfjord Tunnel
The Innfjord Tunnel is a 6,594 meters long road tunnel between Gridset near Innfjorden to Veblugsnes on European Route E136 in Rauma, Norway. It opened in 1991 and replaced a narrow and windy section of the E136 along the Romsdalsfjord which was closed in 1989 after a landslide killed one person. During construction, there was a temporary ferry service from Åndalsnes to Innfjorden.

Trollstigen
Trollstigen (English: Trolls' Ladder) is a serpentine mountain road in Rauma, Norway, part of Norwegian National Road 63 connecting Åndalsnes in Rauma and Valldal in Norddal. It is a popular tourist attraction due to its steep incline of 9% and eleven hairpin bends up a steep mountain side. Trollstigen was opened on July 31, 1936, by King Haakon VII after 8 years of construction. During the top tourist season about 2,500 vehicles pass daily.

Rauma (river)
Rauma is a river in the Møre og Romsdal and Oppland counties in Norway. It runs for 68 kilometres from the lake Lesjaskogsvatnet in the municipality of Lesja to the town of Åndalsnes in the municipality of Rauma. The river was once famous for its salmon-fishing, but since an infection with Gyrodactylus salaris, only 5-10% of the original stock survives. The salmon runs up to the "Slettafoss", a 16 metres high combination of waterfalls and rapids more than 42 kilometres upriver from the estuary.

Battle of Åndalsnes
The Battle of Åndalsnes took place in Åndalsnes in Romsdal, Norway in 1940 during the Norwegian Campaign of World War II. After the German invasion of Norway in April 1940, British troops landed in Åndalsnes as part of a pincer movement to take mid-Norwegian city Trondheim. The northern arm of the attack was based in Namsos,. To prevent the British from advancing inland, German Fallschirmjägers made a parachute drop on the village and rail road junction of Dombås on 14 April.

Sogge Bridge
Sogge Bridge is a truss bridge crossing Rauma in Rauma, Norway, carrying County Road 63. The intersection between E136 and 63 is located on the north side of the bridge. The first bridge was built in 1877, but was washed away in 1895 or 1896. A new, wooden bridge was then built in 1903 or 1904. The current bridge was built between 1934 and 1937.
