Langenes Church is a parish church in the municipality of Øksnes in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Stø. The church is part of the Øksnes parish in the Vesterålen deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The white wooden church seats about 170 people and was built in the 1500s. It has been renovated several times since then.

Gavlfjorden

Gavlfjorden is a fjord (more accurately, a sound) in the municipality of Øksnes in Nordland county, Norway. The 20-kilometre long fjord separates the large islands of Langøya and Andøya in the Vesterålen archipelago. In the north, the fjord flows out into the Norwegian Sea, and in the south, the fjord splits into the Sortlandssundet strait and the Risøysundet strait.

Anda, Norway

Anden or Anda is a small island in the municipality of Øksnes in Nordland county, Norway. It lies in the Vesterålen archipelago, about 5 kilometres north of the village of Stø on the northern tip of the large island of Langøya, and about 14 kilometres west of the large island of Andøya. It is home to the Anda Lighthouse, which was the last lighthouse in Norway to be automated (in 1987). The 153-decare island is protected as a nature reserve, and is an important nesting area for Atlantic Puffin.

Alsvågvatnet

Alsvågvatnet is a lake which lies in the municipality of Øksnes in Nordland county, Norway. It is on the island of Langøya in the Vesterålen archipelago. There is birch woodland and bogland nearby. The 2.36-square-kilometre lake sits at an elevation of 8 metres, about 1.3 kilometres west of Alsvåg, along the road to Myre.
