Efjord Chapel

Efjord Chapel is a chapel in the municipality of Ballangen in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Kobbvika. The church is part of the Ballangen parish in the Ofoten deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The wooden chapel was built in 1985. It seats about 75 people, and it holds at least 6 worship services each year.

Efjord Bridges

The Efjord Bridges are a series of three bridges that cross the Efjorden in the municipality of Ballangen in Nordland county, Norway. They were opened in 1969. The bridge is part of the European route E06 highway. The easternmost bridge is the Kjerringstraumen Bridge, then comes the Mellastraumen Bridge, and finally the Sørstraumen Bridge. Kjerringstraumen Bridge is a suspension bridge. It is 551 metres long, the main span is 200 metres, and the maximum clearance to the sea is 18 metres .

Ofotfjord

Ofotfjord or Narvik Fjord is a fjord in Nordland county, Norway. It is an inlet of the Norwegian Sea, located about 200 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. The 78-kilometre long Ofotfjorden is Norway's 12th longest fjord and it is also the 18th deepest, with a maximum depth of 553 metres . In the English language and in many historical documents, this fjord is often called the "Narvik Fjord", since the town of Narvik is located on the inner shores of the fjord.

Tjeldøya

Tjeldøya is an island in Nordland county, Norway. The 187-kilometre island is located entirely in Tjeldsund municipality. North and west of the island is the Tjeldsundet strait which separates it from the large island of Hinnøya; south of the island is the Ofotfjorden; and east of the island lies the Ramsundet strait which separates it from the mainland of Norway. Tjeldøya is connected to the mainland by the Ramsund Bridge, about 7 kilometres south of the village of Hol.

Tysfjorden

Tysfjorden is a fjord in the municipality of Tysfjord in Nordland county, Norway. The fjord stretches southwards from Korsnes along the Ofoten fjord all the way to Hellmobotn, about 62 kilometres to the southeast (near the border with Sweden). The island of Hulløya is located about halfway through the fjord. Tysfjorden is the deepest fjord in Northern Norway reaching to 897 metres below sea level near Hulløya.
