Straumsund Bridge

Straumsund Bridge (Straumsundbrua) is a bridge that crosses Straumsundet between the mainland and Aspøya in Møre og Romsdal county in Norway. The bridge is 412 metres long, and the longest span is 146 metres. Straumsund Bridge was opened in 1991. It is part of Krifast, the town of Kristiansund's road connection to the mainland.

Aspøya

Aspøya is an island in the municipality of Tingvoll in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located between the Freifjorden and the Tingvollfjorden. The highway E39 crosses Aspøya and connects it to the nearby island of Bergsøya to the west by the Bergsøysund Bridge–part of the Krifast system. The highest point on the 20-square-kilometre island is the 372-metre mountain Vettafjellet.

Tingvollfjorden (Møre og Romsdal)

The Tingvollfjorden is a fjord in the municipalities of Tingvoll, Gjemnes, Nesset, and Sunndal. The inner part of the fjord (inside the municipality of Sunndal) is called the Sunndalsfjord. The fjord begins at the island of Bergsøya and stretches about 54 kilometres to the village of Sunndalsøra. The river Driva flows into the fjord at its start. The deepest part of the fjord is just southwest of the village of Tingvoll where the fjord reaches a depth of 113 metres below sea level.

Freifjorden

The Freifjorden is a fjord in the municipalities of Kristiansund, Tingvoll, and Gjemnes in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The 14-kilometre long fjord begins near the island of Tustna and flows southwest between the islands of Nordlandet and Frei on the west side and the mainland peninsula of Straumsnes and the islands of Aspøya and Bergsøya on the east side. The Kvernesfjord lies at the west end of the Freifjorden, near the Freifjord Tunnel.

Bergsøysund Bridge is a pontoon bridge that crosses the Bergsøysundet strait between the islands of Aspøya and Bergsøya in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The bridge is 931 metres long, the longest span is 106 metres, and the maximum clearance to the sea is 6 metres . The bridge has 13 spans. Bergsøysund Bridge was opened in 1992. It is part of the Krifast system, the town of Kristiansund's road connection to the mainland. The bridge cost NOK 277.4 million.
