Røa was a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway up to January 1, 2004, when it became part of the Vestre Aker district. Røa is also a suburb of Oslo, located approximately 7 kilometers away from downtown Oslo. It primarily consists of duplex houses and apartment blocks as well as single-family detached homes.

Hovseter (station)

Hovseter is a station on the Røa Line of the Oslo Metro 2between Holmen and Røa. It is located in the Vestre Aker borough. The station was opened on 24 January 1935 with the completion of the line to Røa. It is 135.6 metres above sea level, and 6.7 km from Stortinget. Hovseter is one of the most densely populated areas along Røabanen, and the neighborhood has several fairly large apartment buildings, some of which are public housing.

Holmenkollen (station)

Holmenkollen is a station on the Holmenkollen Line (Line 1) on the Oslo Metro, located in the Holmenkollen area, between Besserud and Voksenlia. Until 1916 when Holmenkollbanen was completed, the terminus station was Besserud and was called Holmenkollen. The station is at an elevation of 277.7 meters above mean sea level. The station architect was Erik Glosimodt. The station is close to the Holmenkollbakken facility and skiing museum. The area also has several residential buildings.

Røa (station)

Røa is a station on Røa Line (Line 2) of the Oslo Metro, located in the Vestre Aker borough, 7.5 kilometers from Stortinget. The station is located between the stations of Hovseter and Ekraveien. The station is part of the old western suburban rail network and was opened on 24 January 1935. Up until 1951 it was the terminus station, but the line was extended to Grini in 1948 and to Østerås in 1972.
