Vamma Hydroelectric Power Station

The Vamma Power Station is a hydroelectric power station located in Østfold, Norway. The power station was built in 1915 and exploited eight waterfalls in the river Glomma. The original installed capacity was 113 MW. After later upgrades it operates at an installed capacity of 215 MW, with an average annual production of 1,275 GWh.

Mysen Station

Mysen is a railway station located in Mysen in Eidsberg, Norway. The station is served by commuter trains from Skøyen and Oslo S on an hourly basis, with extensions to Rakkestad Station during rush hour. Mysen Station was opened in 1882 as part of the eastern section of the Østfold Line.

Mysen

Mysen is the administrative center of the municipality of Eidsberg in the county of Østfold in Norway. Between 1920 and 1961, it was a separate municipality. Mysen became an independent municipality on 1 July 1920 when it was spun off from Eidsberg. On 1 January 1961 Mysen was merged again with Eidsberg. As with many other places in Eastern Norway Mysen has grown up around a railway station, after Østfold Line's Eastern Line opened in 1882.
