Karmøy Tunnel

The Karmøy Tunnel is a subsea road tunnel under construction in Karmøy and Tysvær, Norway. 8.9-kilometer long, it will link Karmøy with European Route E39 and will be the longest subsea tunnel in Norway. At Fosen there will be an underground roundabout which will allow access towards Haugesund. It is part of the T-Link project, which is a toll road and scheduled to open in 2013.

Kopervik

Kopervik is the largest city on the island of Karmøy in the county of Rogaland, Norway and is the administrative centre of the municipality of Karmøy. The City of Kopervik has 8,192 inhabitants whilst the municipality as a whole has around 40 000 inhabitants. It is part of the traditional district of Haugaland.

Karmsund Bridge

Karmsund Bridge (in Norwegian Karmsund bru) over the Karmsund strait links Karmøy island in Rogaland to the Norwegian mainland. It is 691 meters in length and has a maximum span of 184 meters . It was completed in 1955.
