Karmøy Tunnel
The Karmøy Tunnel is a subsea road tunnel under construction in Karmøy and Tysvær, Norway. 8.9-kilometer long, it will link Karmøy with European Route E39 and will be the longest subsea tunnel in Norway. At Fosen there will be an underground roundabout which will allow access towards Haugesund. It is part of the T-Link project, which is a toll road and scheduled to open in 2013.

The station is owned and operated by the company Naturkraft, that is again owned by Statkraft and Statoil and opened on 2 November 2007. The power station has an installed effect of 420 MW, with an annual production of 3.5 TWh, equivalent of 3% of the Norwegian electrical production.
