Sogn
Sogn is a traditional district in Western Norway (Vestlandet). It is located in the county of Sogn og Fjordane, surrounding the Sognefjord. Sogn consists of the municipalities of Aurland, Balestrand, Hyllestad, Høyanger, Gulen, Leikanger, Luster, Lærdal, Sogndal, Solund, Vik, and Årdal. The district covers 10,675 square kilometres and contains about 35% of the county's population. The largest urban area in Sogn is Øvre Årdal, with 3,456 residents.

Sognefjord Span
The Sognefjord Spans are the second, third, and fourth longest spans in the world situated east of Hermansverk, Norway and are part of different powerlines. As Sognefjord Span is a deep valley the pylons of these spans are not taller than ordinary pylons. In order to avoid any too close approaches or contacts between the conductors, each is mounted on a separate pylon at the end of the span, which is built as a steel framework tower.

Vangsnes
Vangsnes is a community located in the municipality of Vik in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. Vangsnes consists of a relatively flat and fertile peninsula that juts out on the south side of the Sognefjord. Vangsnes is connected with Hella in Leikanger and Dragsvik in Balestrand, both on the north side of Sognefjord, through a ferry system operated by Fjord1. Vangsnes is best known as the site of the statue of Fridtjof, who according to Fridtjof's Saga was the king of Ringerike and Sogn.
