Finnøy Tunnel

The Finnøy Tunnel, also known as the Finnøy Fixed Link or Finnfast, is an underwater road tunnel that connects the islands of Finnøy and Talgje to the mainland at Rennesøy in Norway. Located on County Road 519, the tunnel opened on 30 October 2009 and cost NOK 530 million. It is 6,700 metres long, including the branch to Talgje.

Talgje

Talgje is a populated island in the municipality of Finnøy, Norway. Talgje church dating from c.1100 is located here. To disambiguate from another island named Talgje, located in the Sjernarøy island group, Talgje in Finnøy is sometimes called Sør-Talgje (South Talgje). Talgje also have a ferry over to Ladstein, Finnøy and Hanasand.

Ryfast

Ryfast is a planned sub-sea tunnel system between Stavanger and Strand in Norway. Approximately NOK 5 billion will be spent on the tunnel system linking Ryfylke with Stavanger. The tunnel system will replace today's ferry route between Stavanger and Tau.
