Vanse

Vanse is a town in Farsund municipality, Norway. Its population is 1,967 by January 1, 2008. The small town is notable for having several references to America due to the high number of inhabitants emigrating to the US from 1825 to 1975. A lot of them returning during these years bringing back American music, clothing, housewares and values. This is celebrated every year with the "American Festival" celebrated the last weekend in June every year.

Rosfjord

Rosfjord is a fjord in the Norwegian municipality of Lyngdal. The harbour of Agnefest has a history going back at least to 1771. Because of the high salinity of the water the fjord rarely freezes, making it a suitable harbour. At the bottom of the fjord lies Rosfjord Beach, where there is both a campsite and a hotel. Commercial camping on the site goes back to 1934. In the 1970s several cottages were built, and the hotel—Rosfjord Strandhotell—dates from 1986.

Fedafjorden

Fedafjorden is a fjord in Vest-Agder, Norway, a southern branch of Listafjorden. The fjord has a length of 12 kilometres. The river Kvina mouths into the fjord, and the village Feda is located at the northern side.

Skomrak

Skomrak is a village in the municipality of Lyngdal, Norway. It is divided into three parts Skomrak Indre, Skomrak and Skomrak Ytre. Before the merge in 1964, the border between Lyngdal municipality and Austad municipality was between Skomrak and Skomrak Ytre. Most people live in Skomrak Ytre, a part of former Austad kommune. Its population (2005) is 202. In Skomrak only six persons live today and in Skomrak Indre the population is about 50.
