Lady Reading Hospital
The Lady Reading Hospital is located at Peshawar in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan. It is one of the most important Post Graduate Medical Institute in Pakistan. It is also called loye (big) huspatal (hospital) and Gernali Huspatal. It is named after Lady Reading, the wife of the Viceroy of India, Lord Reading. It is the biggest hospital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province providing tertiary care facilities.

PAF Base Peshawar
PAF Base Peshawar is an airbase of the Pakistan Air Force located in Peshawar, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is the site of PAF's Northern Air Command, located immediately to the east of Peshawar International Airport, which is shared by civil aviation flights and military flights. On December 9, 2007, an unidentified party fired four rockets, two of which landed near the PAF Airbase and two landed in the vacant ground near the Peshawar International Airport.

Bala Hissar, Peshawar
Bala Hissar is one of the most historic places of Peshawar. The word Bala Hissar is from Dari Persian, meaning, “elevated or high fort”. The name was given by the Pashtun King Timur Shah Durrani (1773–1793), who used the fort as the winter capital of the Afghan Durrani Empire, with the summer capital being in Kabul. The Sikh empire who conquered Peshawar in the early 19th century named it Samir Garh in 1834 but the name did not become popular.

Bacha Khan International Airport
Bacha Khan International Airport, previously called Peshawar International Airport, is an international airport located in the city of Peshawar in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Located about a 10-minute drive from the centre of Peshawar, it is the fourth busiest airport in Pakistan. One unusual feature is that one end of the main runway is crossed by a railway line -- the seldom-used Khyber train safari to Landi Kotal in the Khyber Pass.
