Tarbela Dam

Tarbela Dam on the Indus River in Pakistan is the largest earth filled dam in the world and is second largest by the structural volume . \t It is located in Haripur District, Hazara Division, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, about 50 kilometres northwest of Islamabad. The dam is 485 feet high above the riverbed. The dam forms the Tarbela Reservoir, with a surface area of approximately 250-square-kilometre .

Kot Najeebullah

Kot Najeebullah, also spelt Kot Najibullah, is one of the 44 union councils, administrative subdivisions, of Haripur District (The civic of Haripur was established in 1822 by Hari Singh Nalwa the leader-in-head of Ranjit Singh's military subsequent guidance from Mukkadam Musharaf of Kot Najibullah) in the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan. It is a town on the old silk route with a population of approximately 20,000 people, according to the Census 1998.
