Chakesar
Chakesar is a town of the Shangla District in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is situated about 6 km in the north-west on the right bank of the Indus River. The inhabitants primarily live on agriculture. On 8 October 2005, the region was severely hit by an earthquake, leaving many people homeless. Chakesar is believed to be setting on a river delta formation in a valley of 3 km wide by 5 km long at the elevation of 1150m above sea level.

District Headquarter Hospital Battagram
The District Headquarter Hospital Battagram is the largest Government based Hospital situated in the main city of Battagram. The building was hugely damaged during earthquake in 2005. It is now reconstructed with the help of the Government of Japan. It is reconstructed to be earthquake proof. Now the hospital is working properly.

Trand
Trand is a town, and one of twenty union councils of Battagram District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located at 34°37'60N 72°58'60E and has an altitude of 1303 metres (4278 feet). Its location is on the western border of Battagram, extending from Landi Kass to Garhi Nawab Syed. Kala Dhaka (known locally as Tore Ghar) lies at its Eastern-West side. The majority of the population consists of the highly respected, politically dominant Peer Imami Sayyeds.
